Honored

My going away gathering at Halo was amazing. It was like a decade of my life on parade. Needless to say, I was honored with the turn out of over 100 or so friends.

Saturday, I sort of crashed another friend's birthday celebration, as we share birthdays and many friends. I must admit, it was nice to get my own round of "Happy Birthday" toasts, so thanks, Jeffrey, for sharing the spotlight.

Walking home, I had two other friends stop and say "Hi", and one friend yell out from a passing car. It was almost like some set up scene from a movie, a reminder of the familiarity and conviviality that comes with my time in Atlanta. A reminder of what I am leaving.

Appreciation, not sadness. Thanks, my friends.
